This is great pop punk adjacent stuff. Just fun to listen to in a way that a lot of stuff that sounds like this isn't.

was thinking / kinda hoping new album (which turned out to be hyperview) would be more like in between / ceiling fan / lefty but nope. not to say hyperview is bad, but a progression on that sound would have rly been something

man this is really fucking good. like a heavier modern knapsack with some gaze. head in the ceiling fan is all time good. not enough bands that sound like this. shame i lumped these guys in with the rest of the emo revival dreck.

They were always my favorite band in the pop punk/hc/emo hybrid revival era. Amazing live too

yeah most of this era is complete crap but this is excellent. actual 90s influence from legit bands while making it fresh with some gaze instead of dweedling math notes. great vocals on here too. sounds a lot like the guy from knapsack when he's yell singing.

Right there with you, this, Shed and the first Joyce Manor album were the peak of this era for me. A lot of those other bands didn't too much for me either

You should check all their shit Future, you also might really like "Basement - I Wish I Could Stay Here" too.

This band was so fucking good though, killed it live too. I hate they kinda just disappeared after Hyperview.

word. Title Fight & Basement were really close friends in the scene, and share some similarity sound wise. Used to be my absolute favorite album back in the day.

I'm tempted to go on a binge myself. prob gonna give tigers jaw a spin, and checkout knapsack
