actually i take it back, i think Kingdom tries a bit too hard to be heavy, it's just a constant chug riff. boring. his vocals are great though

Did you happen to see on the AE thread that I said it is my least favorite album by him. For me, all of the straightforward stuff (Epicloud, Addicted, AE, Synchestra, Sex and Religion, The New Black) ranks at the bottom. I still love all of them, but I prefer his tendency to alienate people. >:D
All that being said, Addicted and Epicloud are level to me. They both have their clear downsides and both are super easy to love due to how immediate they are.

You have never listened to it on a good soundsytem then. :/ It is easily the best sounding track on the album (especially with that intro at the end of "Save Our Now").

AE is my favourite for sure but it's very close to being even with City, Infinite, Terria, and Addicted. Ocean Machine is also growing on me. i havent heard any post-Alien SYL
and it doesn't matter how "good" it sounds, it's still a boring song, sorry

@Skag No. Epicloud has the advantages of its booming bass and Anneke's vocals, but I will always love
the Physicist version more.
That being said, the Live EP version is the absolute best.

DTB have the most throwaway tracks (for me).

"Storm" (Yeah I know it is everyone's favorite, but it is never connected with me)

"Sunshine and Happiness"
"Judgment"
Again, I still love them because the other tracks on each release are hella strong ("Suicide",
"Sunday Afternoon", "Away", "Pixillate", "Gaia", "Notes from Africa" are all up there in my favorite
songs of all time)
