The singing is good. So he has a high-pitch, so what. It doesn't make his technique worse.

just nothing I'm too fond of. I could care less if he has good technique, it doesn't sound good.

At first Claudio's voice was like fingernails on a chalkboard for me but I grew to really like it. Pretty fast actually, by the end of the album on first listen. I adapt fast lol

That's exactly what happened with me really. His best vocal performance is on Second Stage Turbine Blade though. All those emotional fluctuations and outbursts that he makes are so awesome.

His voice has progressively gotten better, it's more dynamical now.

I can't decide what to rate this sometimes I really dig this album other times the only thing I really enjoy is the title track...but alas I can't get enough of that song.

I wasn't really into Coheed and Cambria for awhile until i saw how good of reviews they got on this site. I listened to this CD, not bad. Listened to it again. Pretty good. Again. Again. Again. And now after listening to their other CDs again and again and again, I believe that Coheed and Cambria is the best band that has ever existed...

Thank you.

If their first two albums are better then this, I can't wait to import Keepings of Silent Earth and listen to it.

Only tracks I skip are the last four.

While I love Coheed and Cambria with a passion this album was really lacking. Welcome Home is with out a doubt the stand out track everything else just fails behind it. I must admit though that the Willing Wells are something like buried treasure, it takes awhile to get there but completely worth it. Also the Apollos are incredibly dull, they are almost the exact same song.

Decent album from an awesome band. Second Stage is totally a worthy listen if you like this album.
