@morto ya apparently the "clean picture mix" are the "actual released mixes that was on the limited edition (1000 copies) picture disc release of the jesu self titled album" thru hydra head 2005.



it sounds great, too. it's got this demo-y feel to it that takes some of the heaviness away from the sound but adds idk a lil rawness to it

there are three variations because Justin accidentally released the unreleased mix on bandcamp as the picture-disc mix, however bandcamp is the only place I think that third version is available - it's not included with any version of the recent physical re-release



one of the most notable aspects of that third "unreleased" mix is that it is slightly sped up in comparison to the others (note all the track lengths are shorter) - I haven't spent a ton of time with it as a whole, but I am quite fond of that version of "Sun Day"

the third version is the one that was released by mistake - I assume it happened whenever Justin originally decided to put the picture-disc mix on bandcamp... somehow he screwed up and uploaded the wrong files which were actually this third version that had been previously unreleased (he has since amended all this, but decided to leave it on bandcamp) I put link in previous post

the remixes on the 'extras' LP are mmmmmm very good



haven't listened to the live material on the B side yet... Justin must really adore those first two tracks from the album though... this whole LP is basically a remix of "Your Path to Divinity", a remix of "Friends Are Evil", another remix of "Your Path to Divinity" and then live performance of "Your Path to Divinity" and "Friends Are Evil"

Should have put the 2 Heartache songs on this making it proportionally more monumental.
