i prefer Human Jerky to this stiff clicky sound they have now but it's alright. Harvest Floor is good.

Huh, they're much more interesting now in my opinion. I don't like their early records. In fact, I don't necessarily like a lot of similar bands that incorporate gory images and aesthetics. A lot of their contemporaries (one could argue they've been unfairly grouped with some of these bands) are uninteresting.
Something that I appreciate about this particular band is that the music, especially the vocals and lyrics, has actual passion behind it. I mean, you can hear conviction in this guy's vocals. The gore of it all has actual substance behind it. I guess some people do enjoy gore for the sake of gore, which is what a lot of Death Metal is, but it bores me. So I appreciate this band's premise.
