I gave this a listen the other night, I need to listen a few more times before I give a rating but I love CC. I thought Evisceration Plague was bananas. I wanna listen to their other albums but don't know what to listen to first. I might just go backwards from Evisceration.

Grabbed this recently, liking all the tracks other than Crucifier Avenged which is the snooze. Top tracks currently are probably Encased In Concrete, Sarcophagic Frenzy, Followed Home Then Killed (got the best solo and one of the best riffs), and Rabid.

Rabid was a definite standout track after my first listen, i had to replay it a couple of times.

there are/were so many awesome DM bands, the 'best' will always be a personal opinion.
i couldnt pick a fav tho, between ulcerate, immo and portal.. all of those bands sorta created a sound of their own, plus awesomeness.

It's kinda stereotyped to be generic but this is probably their most distinct album in terms of style. It's probably my second favorite CC album after The Bleeding. I do like tracks off of most of their albums though, even Gore Obsessed (I mean Pit Of Zombies was pretty fun).

I still don't get why people went nuts over this album. It's CC, same old same old. 3-3.5 like usual. New Decapitated is much better than this.
