I can see why hardcore Metallifans would hate this but I personally found it to be an enjoyable album with catchy songs and some interesting ideas.

it's not a thrash album so people shouldn't compare it to thrash albums. compare it to something like 90s Corrosion of Conformity or Black Label Society, and in that vein it's pretty damn good (even if there are some pretty bad songs here *cough* Poor Twisted Me *cough*).
