I just find it weird that this is one of the 4 albums Pantera don't consider part of their discog. Like, it at least makes sense with the first 3. But not only does this one solidify the band's permanent lineup, but it's honestly not that far from what they'd do on Cowboys. It's basically that album but with more traditional and less groovy elements

Preeeeeetty sure that's not gonna happen, lol. I have found some defenders of that album, but not a whole lot honestly. And even the defenders usually have to say something like "well it's not one of their BEST or anything, but it's not terrible!"

i think the alleged glam association just affected too many ppl. esp seeing how their audience eventually became the hypermasculine bro crowd. but musically this fits alongside megadeth's SFSGSW and exodus' bonded by blood, not KISS' lick it up
