I like all of his mixtapes but I kinda hope his debut album has more stuff you can blast at parties like on House of Balloons with dat heavier bass and production with more lush synths.
|
| |
also I'm curious for when The Zone video comes out. And his Trust Issues Remix. So good.

Wow, he did it... The Weeknd - 21 year old Toronto R&B singer Abel Tesfaye - has managed to deliver a trilogy of full-length releases in the span of just 9 months! More than that, this final instalment titled 'Echoes of Silence' not only keeps the quality high & exhibits genuine evolution, but also continues the thematical cohesiveness while combining the elements of the previous 2 releases. Beginning with a surprising - but fitting - cover of Michael Jackson's 'Dirty Diana', this may not match his debut, but is another strong & fascinatingly compelling record despite the lyrical subject matter. Recommended Tracks: Montreal, D.D., The Fall & Same Old Song.
