sh-2 and sh-12. i was really surprised at how clean it was and how well set up it was to begin with. the previous owner had the intonation and bridge float dead on, took me well under an hour to set it up even with completely changing the string gauge and lowering the tuning. whereas with the rg770 the thing was filthy, intonation was way off and the bridge wasn't even at the correct angle. the dude had it so the top surface of the bridge was parallel with the body of the guitar, but with the original edge the knife edge is what you want parallel with the body of the guitar. classic mistake lol. and he claimed to be the original owner as well. the only major flaw with the dr2 was it had a paint chip on the left side of the bridge cavity. but i filled it in with a sharpie for the time being heheh

Haha, when I buy used and it's got a normal looking finish, I typically welcome a ding or two here and there. Unless I'm buying brand new, I kinda like a bit of body wear on the guitar from the previous owner(s). As long as the frets, electronics, and tuning stability are 10/10 I am good to rock.
It's a great feeling when you buy used and everything is already in order, especially one with a trem. You getting the retuning down in an hour already makes you an expert lol. Those bridges strike fear in my heart.

i'm the rare weirdo who enjoys setting up trems haha. guitars feel kind of incomplete if they have a fixed bridge imo. not even sure why i feel that way since i never use a whammy bar lol. i just like the concept of double locking bridges i guess

You never even use the whammy say what? Bro that really is weird lol

Yeah I know, I regularly sell some of it tho.
Nice job on the dr2 there. If you don't use the trem, why not block it? Works with a piece of wood, saves a lot of hassle.

he damaged his hearing from touring back in the day and it caused him to flip out. they detail it in the documentary they made a few years back. i think the self titled album was meant to be a one time thing

Yeah a total shame. These guys are in my top 10 metal bands and to think they won't release anything else hurts... We'll have to do with Fleshkiller
