Yep, I didn't even notice that every "wave" band had a release this year except MDAM. It feels weird to call Parting the Sea the worst of the four this year since its really good but I gotta agree.
Also since people are spitting out screamo recs, Portrait and The Kodan Armada

The wave is just a term for La Dispute, PBTT, Touche Amore, Make Do and Mend, and Defeater because they're all a
part of this growing scene in hardcore/post hardcore and they're all friends that release splits and tour with each
other
But musically they're really nothing alike
and I'm a huge LD fanboy, but I even enjoyed ED&SN more than Wildlife, and I don't like Defeater at all =/

the more I listen to this though the more I think it sounds similar to Defeater. at first I thought the comparisons were retarded but I dunno I kind of hear it now. just a little bit, mainly to do with the vox. anyone else?
