Album is pretty good yah! That intro track is honestly one of my favorite Megadeth songs.

Never Dead has a sick riff. Reminds of the Peace Sells era. They need to play this more often.



Cut this album down to 7 tracks (30 minutes) and it would be a solid 3.3.

Album art and title aren't the worst issues here. With very few exceptions it's just bland... I'm quite glad Shawn left the band, not so glad about Chris though.

If Endgame didn't feel so calculated in approach, I'd easily give it a 4. This album is calculate gone terribly wrong. Not as bad as Supercollider but almost as bland.

Giving this record a couple more turns, I think the album is very very good... tha later songs as Black Swan and Deadly Nightshade are hidden gems, track "13" is more emotional than I remembered and a great closer. The weakest songs here, albeit the teenager-oriented lyrics, are actually great mid-tempo/radio friendly songs that feels like a nice follow up to Crypitc Wings (if risk was never made).

These guys and Metallica... I can just never ever enjoy anything they do no matter how hard I try.

ok... Megadeth has three album I actually like. Ride The Lightning is ok too, based on merit at least.

This album has a few songs I like but it's not the kind of album I can play through without skipping songs unlike Endgame where every song is amazing
