I don't see how you can rate something as a classic only 2 weeks after release

Becuase you just know. I dont think this could be rated a 5 but some albums you just know are gonna be around for awhile. The first example that comes to my head is Radiohead- In rainbows.

This album really blew me away. I love the punk/blues mix. I kinda view it as Dillinger escape plan with a bluesy attitude (with much less drumming musicianship).

Snake oil is amazing!

I understand the 5s. There's just something magical about this album.

This review is symptomatic of what's wrong with so many music reviews: it says very little about what the actual music sounds like. As a result, I have no idea what genre this group is or if this is something I would find interesting; consequently, I probably won't even bother to check it out.

I auto-5'd it like 60% of the people who heard this, then bumped it back down to a 4.5, which seems about right for now.

At this point, i can see both this and Darkness Oh Hell both staying at a 4.5, or both getting bumped up. Not just one EP but not the other.

I could see myself moving Darkness down to a 4.5 because it has some slightly weaker moments but this is just so perfect there's not a moment that makes me think this doesn't deserve a 5.

I've never rated something a 5 so quick. This album is just...awesome.

This one is a grower, just like Darkness, Oh Hell.

I 50 percent want to rearrange this to have Never Dead as a closer but I 50 percent don't..
