Still rules. Kinda burnt out on it the past few years but I'll be damned if the first half doesn't get me going no matter how many times I've listened to it

mixed tape is kinda legendary tier. i can't imagine listening to this at 20+ and loving it, but some of these songs are top-notch emo-pop. i can't not like it.

I'm 20+ and I still love it, whatchu tryna say Cyg

Album Rating: 5.0
I get what cyg is saying because this isn't as amazing as it was when I was a late teen, but it's still classic
The songs here are just perfect and sometimes they still catch me the right way to the point that I enjoy it more than any other similar type of music out there
On a side note, I thought the new Weezer drew a lot from this. Not as much as they gathered from the beach boys and their own discography, but still something. Especially Jacked Up.

It's always hot in south Alabama so anytime album here.
"And today was a day just like any other". Ugh it's like I'm 16 again.
And yes it's a classic. Reminds me a lot of Mae's The Everglow maybe it's the piano rock thing and similar timelines and the fact that they all came out around the time I was 16 and riding all over town with the sun shining and windows down and being a hellion, but idk, but they're both among my favorites. Beautiful musics. Seamless transitions, fun, catchy, accessible, sunny, uplifting. What more can you ask for?

P.S. Don't compare new Weezer to this. New Weezer is Hollister music in its purist form. Compare new Weezer to We the Kings or The Academy Is, please: something you hear at a high school pool party while gossiping with your crush. Not this. This is leagues better.
