I really don't like X-ecutioner Style haha, think it's one of the worst on this record. Not really a fan of the guitar(or is it a synth?)tone on this record, but damn the highlights are so good here

I dunno, I listened this a while back, and although 1step kloser is easily the better version, I found this record overall kinda boring last time I listened to it. The original HT has much better flow, this one kinda drags...a lot.

For instance, many of these songs take the original, add electronics, and extend them. Half the time when doing this, the new version loses its old energy, making a watered down version. When most of the album is a slower, electronic version of once fast paced songs, it gets kinda repetitive.

Most songs on here are the better versions. PprKut, Krwling, Kyur 4 the Itch, H! Vltg, Frgt/10, freaking Plc 4 Mie Head, etc.
"watered down version" I find extremely hard to wrap my head around when the original source material is nu-metal. And I say that as a huge LP fan, but LP is not some complex beast of the music biz.

the x-cutioner track is one of my faves off this too shows just how heavy turntables can be and how awesome metal samples can sound in hip hop tracks

Lol its just trading nu metal for 2000's electronics. Maybe nu metal isn't exactly reinventing anything but they were GOOD at it. This gets pretty old idk.
For the record this isn't bad but calling this better than HT is heresy imo
