nice, side-A of this is peak Unwound (and side-B is endearing hardcore whateverness that their next album levelled up considerably)

B side is weaker but the closer is one of their best

First seven songs here are only surpassed by the first seven off Leaves, wish it was a little more consistent in the rear, but hot damn what a start

Gravity Slips/Star Spangled Hell/Ratbite probs the weakest 3-song run on any Unwound album unfort

"its way better than memes turn inside you agreed"
I explicitly said the opposite tho????
@johnny oof, yeah they're not great, idk if they lost Ratbite I think I'd feel a little better about the ending. I like all of those songs individually (edit: as in they wouldn't really be an issue for me surrounded by better songs), but strung together it just doesn't work

never underestimate park's ability to land on the wrong end of a meme
and yeah, none are exactly awful but it's just a duff combo. think my ideal scenario would be that they'd all been left for the Single History comp and swapped out for rerecorded versions of highlight tracks from the s/t (Fingertips, Understand and Forget, You Bite My Tongue, Kid is Gone... lot of superior contenders there)

We're, Are, Was and Is came up on a live video I was watching on YouTube the other day and I was blown away. Still a newbie to this band but I'm loving everything I've heard so far

this one is amazing, did wear off for me over time as it was my second-ish fav by them for a bit, but ultimately not sure if it's just because I came to appreciate the others more. this one has rippers for sure

This was my first Unwound love, but its worn a little off me with time. The second half is just really hit and miss and it misses more every listen for me
