Best song here - across the discography it only ranks behind the Fallow title track for me

Great song, but I prefer The Pamphleteer, t/t, Aside and Elegy.

But she sits down on the sidewalk, and bites her bottom lip, and spends the afternoon willing traffic lights to change.

The way he sings those lines, right before the explosion of guitars, is one of the most cathartic moments of music ever.

It's stunning. And the opening. "Your body is a difficult sister, and she loves her." I can't get that line out of my head, it's so evocative, so applicable but so specific.

It's amazing how much this week's on you with time. "Pamphleteer" has always been one of my least fav and now it's sending me down a landslide of emotion.

Oh man pamphleteer is one of the greats, maybe controversial opinion but least favs now are maybe Exiles Among You and History to the defeated. I listen to elsabet the least cause that slow core sound gives me the heebie jeebies

I definitely feel that. This whole album is so emotionally heavy it's actually near exhausting and I adore it for that. Pamphleteer into Fire Door? That's a gut punch already. The title track into Elsabet? By then I'm destroyed and the album hasn't even delivered its final blow yet in Exiles.

Oooooohhh yeah Leash is pretty potent, didn't like it for a while because of how dark it is for them
