Most feelsy? Have you heard Cities? Or literally anything else in their discography?

Meh I just have a sweet spot for it :D I used to jam this so much in high school. Jamming New Surrender now actually, but Cities is certainly their creative peak.

This is definitely bland. I need to change my rating, it grew off me more so than any other album probably has. Tbqh I'm not sure why I was so enamored in the first place.

SOWING HAS SEEN THE LIGHT

But you lost me, Green. NS is only marginally better than this, if at all.

Maybe actually a 3 but it gets an extra .5 for nostalgia. This and Godspeed were my shit.

To be honest, I loved Cities so much that NS and this were doomed to fail...but even when I went back and listened to them again, they just bore me so quickly

This is more emotional than Cities but Cities is way better.

Art Of War, Take Me As You Found Me, and Down are some of their most powerful ballads (outside of Unwinding Cable Car and Inevitable)

Art of War is probably the worst song this band ever wrote. Take Me is very meh...Down is actually decent but nowhere near as good as Cable Car or Inevitable.

Vital's that good, Sowing?

NTFP (4.5)

Vital (4)

Blueprints (3.5)

New Surrender (3)

Dark is the Way (2.5)

Yeah I love Vital. But I have this pattern that only seems to exist with Anberlin where I love their newest album and then after about a year it grows off me like 0.5 per year lol.

Right now Cities and Vital are the only Anberlin I even bother with
