Why? They have no legacy to protect and no other art to make. They just made music that's great for getting drunk to with your mates or concealing your girlfriend's moans as you're getting her off with her parents in the next room. And they probably still do.

I really appreciate they still have the motivation and energy to make music but the last two albums were just bland and not enjoyable for me... And even Ballbreaker and Stiff Upper Lip only had one or two highlights. I just think that this drop in quality and lack of inspiration doesn’t do this band justice and is reason for some people to call them samey and boring as a whole which is far from true.

^ Great post Sitar, but what you fail to realize is that a person who doesn't like AC/DC wont have any idea what you're talking about, because 1. They aren't man enough to make a woman moan, and 2. They'll never get one anyway because no self respecting female would ever shack up with the kind of guy who doesn't like AC/DC.

Still, I have some fond memories of Highway to Hell and some...fonder...memories of You Shook Me All Night Long.
