I think I feel exactly the opposite of every word spoken in the review.



1. They are not at their best when they are making melodic metalcore. They are at their "poppiest" when making melodic metalcore, and pop music is garbage.



2. Nightmare is among the best songs on the album. Everything about it is solid. Tonight The World Dies however, plods along in an uninteresting fashion for the entire song.



3. Buried Alive certainly isn't original, but it's far from a bad song. And God Hates Us is one of the three or four best songs on the entire album. That guitar riff that leads into the verse is aggressive and just awesome, not to mention that there's finally some real screaming again.



I could make more points, but I think the good people of Sputnik understand what "opposite" means.

I love this album! Very good! Not a bad song on it. I love Buried Alive, Welcome To The Family, So Far Away (great song!), Victim, Tonight The World Dies, Fiction and of course Nightmare. Pretty much every song is awesome!!

Five reasons for a 5, 1. It's dedicated to Jimmy the REV sullivan, one of the best drummer to date. 2. It's the last album that will have his song writing and drum tracks on it. 3. It's got mike portnoy playing on the album filling in for the rev 4. its their best album so far the quallity of the music is far better than anything else they have produced. 5. albums with this quallity and combo don't come out too offen.....,but then again i could just give it a 1. and that reason would be, I can understand far too well what M Shadows is singing about, it needs to be more sloppy and all over the place and as far away from the mainstream as possible, and sound like absolute sceaming shit. fuck, then i would vote it album of 2010.
