haha yeah. at least he hit that long three to somewhat redeem himself. I feel like I can actually see the blunt particles in Sheed's cuticles, even from the TV angle
|
| |
yeah Simmons despises Sheed, Doc, and Tony Allen. That reminds me I have to go read his running diary from last night.
|
| |
those have been awesome

Canibus=CanIBitch
|
| |
Him and LL went at it for awhile about 12-13 years back. He raped LL. Canibus is alright, but he really gets annoying after awhile because it's always the same gimmick with him.
|
| |
If I was still into sports betting, i would bet almost everything I own on Lakers to win tonight. Ive bitched about the conspiracies before, but I would be astonished if LA doesnt get nearly every call tonight, as it is definitely in the league's best interest for this to go 7 games. Aside from an epic LA collapse, they will win tonight by at least 8.
|
| |
And Canibus = stream of consciousness.
|
| |
yeah pretty much. but I'll say it again, for every evidence of conspiracy in the NBA, there's two pieces of evidence damning it.
think about it. there were 4 second round playoff series' this year: 3 of them ended in sweeps. an NBA Finals hasn't gone 7 games in god knows how long.
but you're probably right, the Lakers will get all the calls tonight. I just think that has as much to do with Kobe and Phil as it does with an NBA conspiracy.
|
| |
Well, the refs can only control so much. There were alot of sweeps because teams were simply over-matched. With a golden oppty to send this a 7th game, in Hollywood no less, I would be astonished if this was called straight up.
|
| |
I dunno, Phoenix got a lot of calls in that SA sweep, and pretty much all of those games were close. But in this situation, I think you're probably right. LA wins tonight barring a complete and total collapse.
|
| |
also, this is interesting:

edit: damn page break, I responded to your comment on the previous page BigHans

that stat isnt right, Kobe bitches almost every time he's whistled.
|
| |
All of em bitch every time they're whistled. Every time there is a foul called, the player being called acts like it's the first time he's ever fouled someone and gives the ref a "How could you call that bullshit?!?!" look
|
| |
Hey, who would be the first, second, and third team greatest players that you guys ever watched?
Mine:
First Team:
Center: Shaq. As much as it pains me, he was the best player in the league for about 5 years.
PF: Duncan - 3 Titles, pretty obvious
SF: Bird - Duh
SG: MJ - GOAT
PG: Magic
2nd Team:
C - The Dream
PF: Barkley - One of my top 5 favorite players of all time
SF: Pippen - I'll put Lebron here once he wins a title
SG: Kobe
PG: Isiah
3rd Team:
C: The Admiral
PF: The Mailman - always hated him, but his stats don't lie
SF: Lebron
SG: Reggie - probably a little biased, but don't care
PG: Stockton
|
| |
My Lifetime?
First Team:
C- Shaq
PF- Karl Malone
SF- Bird
SG- MJ
PG- Magic
Second Team:
C- Hakeem
PF- Timmy Dunk-Dunks
SF- Nique Wilkins
SG- Kobe
PG- J-Kidd
Third Team:
C- David Robinson
PF- Barkley
SF- Yea yea Lebron
SG- Clyde "The Glyde" Drexler
PG- John Stockton
Very similar to yours, hans
|
| |
If I was being objective I might have put Wade ahead of Reggie as Third team SG, but what can I say, Im a huge Reggie fanboy. Any reason you put Malone ahead of Duncan? I was never a big Clyde Drexler fan.
|
| |
Well, I think both are very similar to each other, and maybe it's because malone fed off of stockton so much, but malone was much more consistent
|
| |
Malone was a scoring machine, but I think Duncan is a much better clutch player and leader. Really their games were entirely different.
|
| |
Personally I see a lot of similarities. But hey, whatever.
I'm more of a football/baseball guy anyway, but I do pay attention to basketball a lot as well.
|
| |
Football is still my number one, basketball and baseball are about equal for me.
