Yeah, I think this is kind of the standard/normie opinion on this but those three tracks are god-tier and make me want to 5 this, but the rest, while still very good with a couple highlights that approach that level again, just doesn't stack up.

I was referring specifically the MOUNT EERIE, the album by Microphones. Once he completely shifted into Mount Eerie “the band”, I agree - not as good.

Again, I agree, Mount Eerie has some good/decent stuff, but as a whole, Phil's work with Microphones was way better, and the highs of Mount Eerie don't come close to the highs of Microphones.
