yeah, it's less prone to drag but i think Après l'Ombre for example shouldn't have been near the end (or at all on this album, it doesn't really fit). the second disc is pretty hopeless too, the collaboration with arctic plateau is horrid.

i heard just one track of this but i dont understand how this could be better than alcest

yeah I was a little puzzled at the inclusion of that one. might just be there to appease fans of the acoustic stuff. that's also too bad, arctic plateau actually has some potential.

holy shit. that's it. that's the song. frusy previewed la traversée almost a year ago, and it caught me from the first moment that I heard it. I've been waiting for that song since then and I was worried that it might have been cut. but it's here, and it's glorious. definitely the best les discrets song.

I was just looking at some of the artwork scans, and the damn package is so beautiful. You really are not just buying a CD, you are buying some little piece of art. Hopefully, the music will be as good.

mmmmmm the second disk isn't exactly awful, kind of pointless though. Gianluca Divirgilio singing in french on the second track is a bad idea, I would have really loved to hear some interplay between his Italian and Fursy's french. first track isn't really memorable but I guess the acoustic version of l'echapee is pretty cool.

nah the second disc is really awful to me. the acoustic version of l'echapee is alright though, kind of just sounds like the original with no distortion or drums though. second track is god awful. :[
