This has grown on me a bit. I like 5 or 6 of the songs anyway.

Going to see Coheed and Porcupine Tree in August. Should be interesting.

I still really dig the high-brow wanky pop-punk of their first two albums, but with their last couple of albums the only thing that separates them from a lot of other rock bands is Claudio's voice. The chorus of Made out of Nothing is the closest they come on this to the sound I want them to play.

I agree the big choruses of the first two albums are mindblowing. They really should stay away from industrial sounds, the guitar sounds like ass on this album.

"Without all of the stupid guitar solos" is the only part of the review I don't like. Guitar solos are one of the things that these two are very, very good at.

I get the feeling youre referring to gravemakers and gunslingers when you say that. That's a KILLER song. To each their own though. Good Review overall though and I enjoy this site.

IKS:3, SSTB, and Good Apollo 1 are all still really good, but I agree with formiles, they've lost it.

SSTB for me; even though I tried and fell in love with IKS:3 first. I don't know what it is, it just has that sound to it.
