Say what you want about Korn but no band of their ilk has managed to have a rhythm section that swings AGAINST the riffs like Fieldy and Silvera do on this.

I probably like this as much as the debut, if not more. Used to be my least favorite of their first 5.
|

Still my favorite. If a week long meth bender had a sound to it, it would be this album.

lol David and Fieldy are on the top of their game on this one. And I don't mind the experimentation and humor this time around.

A letdown after a perfect debut album? Maybe, but not that bad :

Ross Robinson is a great producer. The first two albums have the perfect mix of roughness and legibility. While Follow the Leader also has great production, it's also when the band's sound got increasingly more polished. Ross is super good at making harsh tones accessible.

Hell yes
May I suggest Aftertaste by Helmet for Terry Date? He mixed that album, but it was produced by Dave Sardy, who did the Zombieland score
