This would be my fave album out of the Big 4 if a certain band hadn't existed.

Not in mine but ya, rules face

Wish I could've seen this album come out like Hans did, but alas, that isn't the case.

I was far too young to experience the rise of alt-rock. It pretty much made a statement: hair metal, cheesy ballads, etc., were a thing of the past. A new era had begun for music.

Even if I'm not a big Nirvana fan, I have to admit that hearing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" back in the day must've been quite the experience.

bmf is their best by quite some distance tbh, jesus christ pose hard

I used to think that but this has grown to become a lot closer. JCP is def their best song.

yeah this has some of their best songs: let me drown, mailman, head down, spoonman, limo wreck, fell on black days, 4th of july and like suicide rule so damn hard.

this album takes me back to when I was a tween. might have to jam this again soon for some of that sweet nostalgia.

having said that, this album needs some of its fat trimming.

works for me. also those songs you mentioned are all god tier material. I'd add The Day I Tried To

Live to that list as well.

You get the best of both worlds on BMF. The songwriting is just as good as this, but it still has that grit of their earlier stuff.

could never really get into that one, but knowing soundgarden it will grow on me some day.
