join the club dude, it works wonders as long as you check that the info you get from Wiki is right. One of my lecturers changed a wikipedia entry the night before a homework was in to see how many people he could catch. Turns out 75% of the year got the question wrong due to that!

but seriously on more than one occasion my lecturers have said, just look it up on wikipedia theres a good explanation/example there haha.
mind you i do computer science so usually stuff is either completely right or completely wrong
