ehh, catch is very poppy too. savior is worse than anything they had done up to this point but i think this has stronger highlights than catch (pariah and cartoon showroom are just fantastic)

Just recently started listening to dredg and I really dig this one so far.

They need a new album so badly. If they'd record a new one that sounds closer to anything else they did other than Chuckles (which I actually don't mind on occasion) it would become a really interesting discography

They need a redemption album for sure. I don't think we'll get one but would love to be proven wrong.

Sometimes I go into a discog binge and I always end up wishing there was another one ughh. The progression up until Pariah makes me think that they could deliver some really great new stuff if they'd try again

They even said that something(?) went wrong and that they "fucked up". Can't believe they still haven't recorded something else as much as I can dig it

Any reason for sure why we wouldn't get another album?

No real reasons, I even linked a video where the bassist says things were moving for them. Yet all we're getting are sporadic Facebook posts that by this point kinda come off as mockery.

Man I love the drum sound in this album. Speaking of which, Mourning This Morning from ~4:00 onwards is worth the song alone

"Man I love the drum sound in this album."

Me too. I was thinking I could go for an album that only has songs like Drunk Slide. The beats and those electronic ambient sounds create a kind of atmosphere that I'm just really fond of. Do any of you know anything that's similar? I've been looking for something like this for quite some time now, but I only found a couple of songs that fit the bill, so not much success so far.

Fantastic news. I have a lot of faith in them to write a fantastic record. Or at least an EP.

Oh man I'll be so happy if it's a great one. Every time I listen to some dredg I can't escape listening to something from other albums too, there's something really satisfying and addicting in their discography. I could really use some fresh stuff

Very underrated. This combines the ambitious thematic album concept of El Cielo and Leitmotif with the streamlined yet incredibly addicting sound of Catch Without Arms. While not quite as good as either of them, the average is still too low

For some reason, a few of their albums seem to go on and off on Spotify. After CWA finally appeared again a few months ago, now the The Pariah is missing. Why can't they get their shit together about this

Maybe it's a label thing but whatever it is, it annoys the hell out of me when an artist's album discog is only partly there
