I hated the production when this first came out, it sounds a bit thin, tin can-ish, and the drums kicks are odd but I kinda forgot about it and I don't care anymore. I like the way it sounds for the most part now, the guitars sound cool

clean vocalist Dylan Anderson went MIA and the band dissolved from there. they teased new music but nothing ever came of it. several members of the band left to do their own thing (first drummer Austin Thorton went to Woe is Me, second drummer Lionel Robinson went to letlive., guitarist started Decoder/Lead Hands).
Sad that they never made a second album.

just realized how lacking the bass is on this, typical mizell bullshit
but holy moly his guitar tone is melt-in-your-mouth good

I think this was the era of metalcore when the bass was non existent and the snare and kick drum sounded the same

Makes me think of August Burns Red - Messengers. That bass drum was so clicky you almost couldn't tell them apart.

Another good example is Oceana - Birth Eater
