Adler was never all that good and age and the effects of his various addictions are unlikely to have improved him. But yeah, we can still hope for Izzy. I read this article about how unpredictable and unreliable he is, but dude might be down to write some stuff for GnR even if he doesn't ever want to tour with them again.

Slash was pretty great on Appetite and Illusions, and the chemistry these guys had was amazing. They really got something going back then so I def would say they were talented.
And there’s no sense in comparing them to Bumblefoot as he’s an exceptional talent for sure. His contribution to Guns N’ Roses is way below his capabilities though...
