his voice had less overlapping voice tracks i found. i think they were trying to achieve an album that would be easier to play live.

I wouldnt say that The Resistance is as good as Godspeed, but it's damn close. Blame Me! Blame Me! is insane as well

Poor at best. Which is bitterly disappointing.

How exactly has this album gone 4 years without anyone noticing that "Resistance" is misspelled on the track listing?
(For the record, I changed it from "Resistence" to its proper spelling.)

^Get Cities first. This is great, too, but IMO Cities is their best.
|
| |
Get Cities and Dark is a Place, Light is the Way and then call it a day.
If you like those, download 'Miserabile Visu' from this and 'Dance, Dance, Christa Paffgen' and 'Paperthin Hymn' from Never Take Friendship Personal. Then you're definitely have enough.

All those tracks are great though. But seriously, come on now. No reason he can't get all of Anberlin's discog 8) EDIT: (I'm stupid)
|
| |
Well, I said get 'Cities'... so Fin is part of that package!
Anberlin's discography isn't horrid aside from the two excellent albums I mentioned, but it's never quite as spectacular as it could be.

Wow I suck. I totally read that as "Get Dark is a Place, Light is the Way"
Haha. Yeah, well I dunno, I can see why people think this is the worst of their three most recent, although IMO that doesn't mean much in the first place.
I do agree that getting the two you mentioned are the best two. I still say this is worth checking (even just for a few songs). Did you purposefully forget The Feel Good Drag (original)?

All of NTFP is awesome.
|
| |
Ah, I forgot that one. I definitely prefer the original though; I like Aaron Sprinkle's production and Christian's much more aggressive vocals (especially in the bridge, and I don't just mean the screaming part).

There's something less polished about NTFP which steers me a little away from it. Then again, The Feel Good Drag / Paperthin Hymn are pretty great, but I really only remember Dance Dance, Christa Paffgen (spelling?) outside of that. (Also good). I don't really remember the rest.
And the original is way better in my opinion as well. I can't really point to anything except that it doesn't sound as good (probably the bridge like you said). It might also be I heard the original first so idk.

I prefer the old version of Feel Good Drag too.
I like NTFP so much because it's got so much energy. I used to prefer Dark is a Way to it, but recently it's been the other way around.

Well, guess I'll grab cities flip a coin on the others...seems it will be well worth my time from the few tracks I've heard thus far.
