Im not sure anywhere is known for good hand fishing in modern day, except like southern parts of the states where they do that noodling shit. I think most people hand fishing are either doing it for tik tok or live in extremely isolated parts of the world.
Google tells me even spearfishing is extremely regulated in the Bahamas. I’m not seeing nothin about hand fishing.
Correct me if I’m wrong here, my first comment was mostly in jest but now I’m actually curious.

My comment was also in jest (obv). Walking out into the water from the shoreline and grabbing a fish with your bare hands and walking back and putting it on a spit over the fire just seemed like a very Caribbean thing to me but I've been wrong many, many times before.

this album is over 50 years old tbf so maybe handfishing was more of a thing in them days. that said im pretty sure grabbing wildlife with your bare hands in tropical water is not a good idea

And this is as 5.0 worthy as an album could be. I wish I could find anything that captured even half of this album's energy, but I've yet to find it. Maybe Catherine Ribeiro, but that's a stretch.
