Album doesn't really hold up for me anymore but Sleepless Again is fantastic and I think I'm the only one in the world who loves The Chosen Pessimist

I like The Chosen Pessimist quite a bit.



Album is very good imo, tainted irreversibly by the overwhelmingly negative reaction I saw for it online when it was released. Whenever I listen to it, it's always with that in mind.

hated this album when it dropped -- LOVED Come Clarity

but it's become one of my favorite go-to's when I want this era of melodeath
