Yeah last Feb they said it would be out in 2017 and that hasn't happened yet.
Wikipedia also says : "On November 16, announcements were made to enter the studio and record Phase II after finishing the tour the week after. On December 7, Phase II has just started being recorded."

Per Nilsson has been spending a bunch of time producing other bands and he has been touring with Meshuggah a lot. I just saw him with them 5 days ago.
IMO Phase 1 is their best album.

Yeah Phase 1 is pretty fucking incredible - but I don't know, this album also slays
And I understand, if I had the chance between playing in my band and touring with Meshuggah, I would just tour with Meshuggah.
