Yeah the lyrics are a main thing keeping me from giving this a 5. I like concept albums and all, but a sleep paralysis doesn't seem like the best choice to base one on.

i'd recommend either catch without arms or the pariah, the parrot, and the delusion next then after those go with leitmotif but album is definitely not over-rated, it is outstanding

I think this is an album that the lyrics don't really matter too much, but they add to wonder of this album. Lines like "Does anybody feel this way? Does anybody feel like I do?" may come off cliche, but nothing fits more. The lyrics transcend the idea of sleep paralysis and paint an even bigger picture about hope and human behavior.
