This is the only Eminem i really listen to anymore. It’s rooted in surrealist humor which makes suspension of disbelief much easier compared to MMLP. But it’s not just Slim Shady on the mic, this presents the duality of Eminem and the slim shady alias so it’s nice and balanced with the fun stuff and the heartfelt stuff. I mean just look at that noir album cover with the goofy multi colored slim shady font in the corner

loved him when I was younger, hated him for few years, now I've come back to liking him again. Some of these older tracks are fuckin killer but there's some dogshit in here too.



I do think if you took like the best five tracks from this, MMLP, and The Eminem Show, you'd have one a hell of a record.
