where he is coming from cause the first couple of times i listened to it, it seemed
like jumbled up awesomeness with awesome parts (the first time i heard that
break 3 minutes in sun of nothing, i rewinded it like 20 times)
now that i can basically follow EACH riff (just starting from sun of nothing) i
realized it was stuctured so frigin good
p.s. they coulda shortened this album up 15-20 minutes

No, he should be "dissed" until the end of time for the stupidity he has shown. You can not like this album, whatever, I don't care. But to say that track 1 sounds like track 2, which sounds like track 3.....

i guess you don't understand the concepts of right and wrong, and trust me my spectrum of living is far from narrow.
It's quite easy to distinguish the structures within each song. Just because you perceive an album to be structureless does not mean that it is. There are rare moments of seeming spontaneity, but there is coherent structure even within that. The fact that you can't see this points to your own narrow spectrum of life, and more importantly, to the simple fact that you are wrong
everything that i've stated was simply a matter of opinion. yes, i said that i thought the album was very disjointed. to you, there's structure and coherence. fine. i have not made any exertions of absolution onto my statements, and i'm sorry if you believe there to be such claims. i don't see why you're vehemently trying to prove that i have a "wrong" perception of the album.

i listen to the album. my ears register that there are some oscillations in vibrations in the air, and my brain registers those vibrations and tells me that they are very jumbled and chaotic. that's my perception of the album.

no, you are right, you did not say "i perceive this album to be chaotic, and i hereby present my perception as fact." but by simply stating "every track just contains 129377 melodies with no coherent structure" you are implying it as fact.
i only hope you will give this album another chance and maybe you will then "perceive" structure. this really is a great album once you understand the structure

i don't know how you got a factual implication out of that statement (considering how it's a forum post on a musical review site where people discuss varying opinions regarding albums and their ratings) . . .
and of course i will continue to listen to this album, and maybe i will eventually give it the same amount of attention that you and so many other users here give it. until then though, i will pick up alaska, because that looks a lot more appealing than colors.
