I can't , in all honesty, give a low rating to "Plagues" - as seen by many. I don't feel this album is below average or even terrible. While I do admit many aspects of the album have quite noticeable, generic tendencies; in all, the album is truly creative and has a clean/fun sound - with the help of production. In the case of Mike's screams and Jeremy's vocals: I like Mike's uniqueness to his screams (ranging from highs-to-lows) and Jeremy's singing vocals aren't half-bad as compared to some of these other bands out there trying to do the exact same. I definitely prefer "Plagues" over "Dear Love.." and "With Roots.."

Though they seem to be fairly hated on this website, I have to admit that I'm a fan, particularly of Plagues. I think it was a really catchy album. I never really understood all the hate for them, but to each his own.
