I would imagine this band and Slowdive are the best places xD I could see this being a 5 in the future. This is just bliss and the production makes it ten times better, so ethereal.

Dream pop is basically the cleaner side of shoegaze, so yes, definitely a lot of overlap (Slowdive's s/t is very dream pop-y btw). It's amazing though, I'd consider myself a fan of the dream pop style but at the same time I've had trouble getting into shoegaze as a genre. I honestly feel like the heavy distorted guitars are too thick for the atmosphere to really unfold between them. Not enough "room", you know?

but if u want the other side of the coin their self titled EP is very shoegazey, most of their EPs are for that matter. I think they're among the bands best work n def worth checkin out
