Mandylion, Nighttime Birds and How to Measure a Planet?
Initially, I too lied within that album triptych, but later on If_Then_Else and Souvenirs took the reins.

Yeah they're so worth it. Different vibe, I prefer them over M and NB.
And Home is fantastic as well, super love all of the Anneke stuff.

"Initially, I too lied within that album triptych, but later on If_Then_Else and Souvenirs took the reins."
Yeah if_then_else and Souvenirs are way more consistent than HTMAP?. Also let's not forget about Disclosure.

Also let's not forget that HTMAP? is the Best Album Ever.
But indeed, if_then_else and especially Souvenirs are fantastic amazing perfect.

there is no triptych there is simply everything from this to Home and also Disclosure
had an unexpected chat with my neighbour of 5 months whom i had never met, in which he said I was listening to good music thanx Gathering (had to be very careful to verify this wasn't a classic Japanese turn-that-shit-down coded msg so yay)

@Johnny Always has its charm too man. Back then it was kinda groundbreaking.
@Trifolium could never get into HTMAP's title track, and believe me I tried. :D
Also I can live without The Big Sleep, South American Ghost Ride and even RiaSC.

RiaSC is a top 10 TG contender how dare
HTMAP is probs the least consistent from the era aside from maybe Home but that's kinda an unfair assessment given how it's built around massive highlights with great songs in between all the way

Sleepy Building's version of Red is a Slow Colour is prety neat though, I'll give you that.
But yeah Travel, Probably Built in the 50's and Illuminating are top 10 the Gathering material.
Also Frail, Great Ocean Road and Rescue me would by highlights in any other album.

HMMMMMM YES so many fantastic ones I can't even start with picking a fave.
HTMAP works so well as an album AND has so many highlights/career bests it's crazy.
