JFAC is wannabe death metal. Behemoth, The Faceless, Origin etc. ARE death metal. It's not a matter of time period, it's a matter of 'Job For A Cowboy isn't even half as good as the others'.

I absolutley hate the vocals. I think they'd be much better off replacing the vocalist. Everything I like, the guitars, drums, etc., except the vocals.

Overall it's a very good DM album and yes I would describe them as DM.

Only an idiot would say they aren't Death Metal. Insecure metalheads always let their...insecurities show. They're a fucking death metal band, and the fact that 95% of their fans are lame trendy girl-pant wearing scene kids can't change that.

Yea, this album is definitely death metal even if it's mediocre and generic.

Any one who as claimed that JFACs "Doom" EP sucked is a complete fucking idiot. Doom is one of the best Album/Ep to grace this earth. If anything the new album stinks compared to the ep. Although in the new album they do show their talent as musicians, the album isn't as entertaining to listen too. Also, you guys are getting way into the genre "is it death metal or deathcore or metalcore". All bands have a mix of a genre or two for the most part. METAL IS METAL, sure it doesnt all sound the same and there are different aspect, but who cares. Just enjoy it and stop wasting your time as i just did on this post.

JFACs EP "Doom" was one of the most explosive releases i have ever heard. It had it's own original sound and was great. I can understand people saying that the new album is more generic. It does have its own style and kick, but it lacks variety.
