am I the only person that thinks coast to coast is his best song?

Damn. Yeah. I can't really get behind that. It is a great song, but I think it's pretty easily his weakest opener.
|

damn, if I didn't know better I wouldn't be surprised if it was his most successful song

Everything I've listened to from Elliot is varying degrees of awesome but this is the one I seem to gravitate towards most often.

Eh, i'd say Son of Sam or Sweet Adeline (both still great songs) are weeker openers than Coast to Coast. Speed Trials is his best IMO

"it's one of my favorites"
awesome. I'm wondering if it's just cos it's a bit heavier than his other stuff

The noise sections on this are just pure bliss to me. I think it's kinda a underrated part of this album.

so does anyone else think this is his best like me? I feel like this is elliott playing to his strengths and pushing his sound to new heights.
Even despite this being a posthumous release and never being properly finished, i think all the songs still feel as if they were pulled from the same period and contain a similar vibe. For me they all end up forming into a pretty cohesive album.
