It clicked with me on first listen personally, but I get how this could take a few listens if the vox aren't really your thing. Definitely check it though

It's honestly annoying as fuck most of the time except for a few excellent songs

I feel she butchers quite a few beautiful moments with mindless repetition of words. Like Carbon Monoxide, where she can't stop saying "walka walka walka" like Pacman or saying the words "cool" and "daddy" over and over again. It's like she's had some kinda brain aneurysm and I don't find it particularly endearing or creative

I agree with you completely. She also sometimes does these very annoying vocal alterations and it's like she's trying to sound as annoying as possible. Does anyone else see it that way

I actually see where you're coming from gyro and poly. I mean her vocals are pretty weird on this album in general compared to her other albums. I still love this album, but it is more of an acquired taste. Her vocal approach on the new album is much different, you'd prolly like it more. It's just way more natural and beautiful, she's done away with a lot of the gimmicks. This is probably my 3rd or 4th favorite of hers
