My favorite guitar moments on here are definitely that light to heavy moment in the beginning on The Moor and the same light to heavy moment in Face Of Melinda, and that monstrous riff after Mikael belts out that scream in Moonlapse

i stopped listening to Opeth for over a year, WHY THE FUCK DID I DO THAT??

Album Rating: 5.0
I got tired of heavier metal a few times over the past few years and have taken breaks from extreme metal for other stuff, but I still jammed Opeth's softer material, that's what's so great about their diversity

Probably this question has already been asked and answered a thousand times before but does anyone of you guys know why the ending of Serenity Painted Death has been cut off?

Album Rating: 4.5
it was on purpose, right? trying to be cool by ending abruptly like that?

Album Rating: 5.0
idk it actually doesn't sound that weird to me, because White Cluster starts after it, sounding all heavy and evil and shit. like a return to reality. idk I just like it
Closure ends abruptly too. ironic, huh?
