I liked their 46&2 reaction a lot better, it was way more visceral. They barely even scratched the surface with Lateralus tbh. I love their channel though, If you haven't seen their Gojira reactions yet you're missing out.

Yeah, it's good until Geddy says "Test For Echo" and then it's cringe.

I'm not a fan of Neil lyrics during the 90's but Geddy delivers a great vocal perfomance from most part of the album

'TITAN!!!

hells yes Lucca......they renovated the whole damn place but i haven't been back yet......loved watching my rangers kick the shit out of the islanders many a time in that building

'The Wings duo might actually be my favorite thing they ever did. Best lyricism, too.'

Ahaha my brother is a major Islander fan so he would cry if he read that.

But I don't root for the Islanders anymore because I'm not a fucking masochist.

And oh shit, just thinking about that 06 show is bringing back such great memories of my younger days. I remember being too fucked up to find my seats in time for most of ISIS and my brother wasn't doing any better than me lol

I'm so glad that Tool doesn't talk about sexuality or politics. Those things would just ruin it for me, thankfully APC tackles those issues and not the main band.

Well, a lot of their music is very sexual but yeah way more philosophy/spirituality than politiical

The closest they come to sexuality is on 4 Degrees and Stinkfist and even then they're underlying themes that a causal listener would not even pick up on. With APC it's explicit.

I dunno art, I find sexual imagery sprinkled throughout a lot of their songs

But yeah, it's certainly more subtle than A Perfect Circle

It's way more subtle than APC, that's kind of what I mean. And if Tool ever tells me to put down my cellphone I will flip a hundred tables.

Also wait a minute, they literally have a shit ton of shirts with their band logo as a penis shaped wrench. A great number of their live performances have Maynard dressed in drag, or dressed as a preacher telling people they need to fuck more, etc

I might break down a lot of his songs one day, but there is a shit ton of sexual imagery the more I think about it

And yeah, that cell phone shit was bullshit - saw A Perfect Circle live in November and saw a couple people get kicked out for checking their phones
