Yeah, I agree that this isn't really repetitive. Every song has its own independent feel, and has a pretty defined structure. For instance, Fossil Genera is one of the best songs these guys have ever written.



People always talk about how this album is the same as Colors / more random wank, but I honestly find this to be their most coherent work.

I highly disagree with this statement.I think in a way the wacky parts are BTTBM poking fun at the whole "Metal has to be heavy as shit or else it sucks" kind of thinking in metal music today and think it's just them playing whatever they get enjoyment out of and I mean come lets be serious here metal really can't be taken seriously all the time.I think they could care less what people think of their technical abilities.These guys are pretty much the only metalcore band (besides maybe Converge which I wouldn't even consider to be metalcore) That I can actually sit down and enjoy listening to without getting bored out of my skull. "Swim to The Moon" is definitely the best song on here and to me is deserving of its 18 minutes in length.
