The four other epics on SL might all be better than the moor tbh. Still great song though obviously

Moonlapse Vertigo is the best song off of SL

White Cluster might be my favorite from SL because it's their only epic where it's just singing the whole way through, after the first like minute and a half

The Moor & Godhead's Lament are much better, especially the moor. The acoustic section in that is chilling, especially the hums

Honestly I'd say I like Face of Melinda just as much as the 10-minute epics on SL. All the songs are
really great on it though, with Godhead's Lament or Serenity Painted Death being my least favorites,
and The Moor and Moonlapse Vertigo the strongest for me

Really? To me, Benighted and Face of Melinda are the worst bits on the album. The acoustic sections within the other songs are much better

Face of Melinda builds so well and the outro is one of the coolest parts of the album

Obviously, face of Melinda is a one of a kind opeth song and it just rules

Coil and Harvest are better. It's still not bad by any means though
