@wildcard good point, I really hope they play more than "just the hits" with SOAD, but I could 100% see it going that way.

Aside from Cosmic (which would work great as a final encore) and Nobody, I struggle to see most A7X fans vibing to this at a show. The album works because of how cohesive it is. Very little of it transitions well to a live setting unless the expectation is that they play the album front-to-back. I'm not a betting man, but I'd take the under on, like, 3 songs making a setlist.

I’d say Game Over, Mattel, and Nobody are the only guarantees.

Been thinking on the possible setlist for the co-headliner and I would bet money on Cosmic being there, maybe sandwiched in between ALPoH and Unholy Confessions.

What would the most realistic ideal setlist be for a 90 minute show?

I will take literally anything off of this

the band's setlist is pretty static when it comes to festival / supporting shows.

Game Over

Afterlife

Mattel

Hail to the King

Buried Alive

The Stage

So Far Away

Bat Country

Nobody

Nightmare

Unholy Confessions

Cosmic

A Little Piece of Heaven

prob something like this

hate to be the “well ackshally 🤓 guy” but technically it’s not a supporting show, clearly SOAD are the main draw but they don’t sell out stadiums without Deftones/A7X/Korn, and all of these shows are billed as co headliners.

Hopefully the guys know that plenty of people are there to see them. The only songs off this I haven’t heard are Beautiful Morning and Easier. I could live without Easier but I’d love for them to play Beautiful Morning

"the band's setlist is pretty static..."

That setlist seemed pretty immovable for most of 2024... new year, new vibes hopefully.

Easier would be dope! Might be the only one to think that, though

I would def enjoy it but it’s easily my least favorite track here. The chorus is legitimately fucking gorgeous

When Shadow is going "build more, x more" it sounds like he's tryna take a shit.

Actually, it’ll always be Cosmic. Easier may be second.

I wish the whole song had the vibe of the chorus.

Should be their permanent closer tbh

Save Me right into Cosmic is the best end to a concert I’ve ever seen. They knew what the fans wanted and let them fucking feast

It's the best song they've ever created.
