they could be good performers but i don't think that would change how i think about the album itself.



So you haven't seen them live and you make this claim? I was barely pushing a 2.5-3 before I saw them play this and it certainly opened up my ears to the intensity of what this band has to offer.

Yeah but the live show shouldn't affect the quality of the music on the album. I mean Miley Cyrus probably puts on a fun performance live, but that don't mean her music is is >2.5/5. Live shows bring adrenaline and other emotional reactions into the mix which can bias your judgement at the time.

It's got WitTR-style melodic tremolo riffing accompanied by blast beats, and then smoother pretty post-rock sections. Not that hard to get, on paper.
