Am I really that predictable? :-P
But yeah in all seriousness I only listened to this because I'm checking the Sput 2007 Hall of Fame albums that I hadn't heard and it was pretty much exactly what I expected. There's no way I could ever get over the emo/pop-punk vocals on this, the songwriting is really homogeneous and faux-emotive. I will say that there's a great song at the core of the closing track but it overreaches its grasp and they were clearly trying too hard to make a massive emotional closer so it ends up feeling disingenuous.
The question now is whether I'll end up liking Colors even less than this.

It's a pretty safe bet you'll dig For Emma though, that album is a stunner. I think I'll follow your lead wrt checking the HOF albums, admittedly I've been at least somewhat curious about this, Untrue, and Colors for some time.
